Pictures of Scotland
Pictures often convey more than a written description of an area does and since the development of digital cameras we now have masses of photographs being taken and posted online every day, onto websites, blogs and social media. It is probably at the point where we are at saturation point and it takes a very special photograph to grab your attention.
I hope you like our pictures taken using low cost digital cameras. I love the Scottish Highlands and the areas on the north west coast of Scotland around Camusnagaul and I hope you gain an appreciation of this wonderful area of Scotland, and realise the places I have photographed are in fact very special and well worth a visit.

We would love for you to stay at Camusnagaul in the self-catering cottage, or in the caravan that is available through Ishbel. Bed and Breakfast is also available at Camusnagaul where you will be made most welcome. Ishbel also runs the lovely tearoom called Maggie's Tea Room where you will be served great coffee and homemade cakes, snacks and lunches. At the tearoom is a gift shop with quality, but non expensive gifts for you to buy. Camusnagaul is a short drive from Ullapool and is also close to Gairloch and Poolewe. The self-catering cottage has beautiful scenic views and is an ideal location as a base to explore Wester Ross, hill walk An Tealloch and Fisherfield, or to spend time on the beautiful sandy beach at Gruinard.
